Our Team

Attorney Jon L. Auvil is a member of The Florida Bar, and President of Meridian Title Company. He has over three decades of experience representing clients with complex issues related to buying and selling real estate, Title Insurance, Wills, Trusts, and Probate matters. Jon was born in Brooksville, Florida, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, and his law degree from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. Jon has practiced law in Pasco County and the surrounding areas since 1983. A fourth generation Florida attorney, and the third generation to practice law on Meridian Avenue in historic downtown Dade City, Jon is proud of his heritage and deep roots in Pasco. When he’s not in the office, you can usually find him at his family’s home on Mud River.

Leslie Herrmann Auvil Leslie has been working in Meridian Title since April of 2006. Originally brought on to handle marketing and ensure client satisfaction, she has become an integral part of the team and talks with nearly every client who does business with Meridian Title. Leslie opens new files, handles our escrow accounting, and warehouses files when they get to post-closing. She has an extensive background in client relations and customer service, and is dedicated to ensuring that Meridian Title’s clients are happy and satisfied with our services. Leslie is a fourth generation Floridian, with many family ties in San Antonio and Dade City. She is a member of Tri Delta and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Her favorite part of the closing process is talking to people, and she enjoys spending time on Mud River when she’s not at the office.
